It's July and it's hot and humid in Saudi Arabia; the cold in Australia is biting; and the Philippines is experiencing occasional rainshowers and thunderstorm. So where did our theme Rain, Water and Storm come from? Memories. July used to be the start of the rainy season in the Philippines but with the climate change around the world, rain, forecasts say, could come late this year.

Our cover: We owe Rey Ramos for the photograph of the Catingas River in Sibuyan, Romblon. We added the rain effect to suit this issue's themes. Rey's original photograph of the river can also be seen in this issue.

What's new this July: An exciting thing this July comes, and that's PEBA 2010. This may sound corny but we hope blog entries will come pouring like rain and that we'd all be flooded with excitement. Muli na namang ipagdiriwang at pararangalan ng PEBA ang kabayanihan at angking galing ng mga OFWs sa buong mundo.

Our contributors this month: Reynaldo Ramos (or Reymos) of Ireland from whom we got our Issue 4 cover, Dodeth Vergara (or Deth) of Singapore, and RS Mallari of Qatar.
